Hail to Patch Adams and the life he has brought to those around him

Does "Patch Adams" have the corner of the market on goofy or absurd (humorous, I hope to some) behavior?

I think not. As the host of the blog, I would like this pic to help identify me as:

1. a face with the name

2. an individual trying to lead an observant Jewish lifestyle

3. a fan of a Kroger grocery store grocery section

4. show that the anatomy of the human tongue has some not-so-subtle differences with that of the bovine tongue.

5. I try not to take myself too seriously. There's a time and place for humor, but longterm care definitely does not have enough of it.

I think both the provider and the family/patient are better served when communication shows some human aspect of all involved and certainly the onus is on the provider to bring that into the fray in the most approriate fashion seen fit.
